Wild morning

Setting the scene

This morning started off with a thundershower.  Which always brings to mind a favourite opening quote from A Wrinkle in Time, by Madelaine L'Engle:

"Wild nights are my glory!"
- Mrs. Whatsit

From our windows.  Picture perfect.

Lighting forked, thunder rumbled, the lake is looking positively Caribbean, the trees, technicolour.  Saturated.  I think I've used these words before to set the scene, but they work best.  Picture the light right after it's rained.

Shot for Sara.  Remember this beauty?  And the tea in Mumbai?  My mother went a-travelling, said, "What shall you have me bring?" (Thanks to Barbara Reid and Gifts)

And the magical, mossy rug that got away...

  1. Dear Seestah,

Go to the bottom of post, click on the link that says "0 Comments" or "1 Comment", etc.
A white box should appear at the end where you can add a comment. Type in your comment.
Under the box, select the profile that you are going to "Comment As". You could probably comment as "Google Account".
    Click on the Publish button.
Google Account will ask you to sign in (your email address and email password).
Then, Blogger will ask you to create a Blogger Account (your email address and email password). You'll have to type in the security code that appears before you (mumble jumble numbers and letters that make sure you're not a robot).
You might have to click the Publish button again...

If this doesn't help, we'll do it together when I see you!

    love,

  3. So you've read the continuum concept. ♥ There were parts of the book that rubbed me the wrong way, but I adored it enough to buy it. Something i seldom do unless the author is named Diana Gabaldon.
